At Pure Life Yoga we think that Upper Hutt is a great place to live, work, eat, drink and just generally get out and have fun!  The following is a (not overly comprehensive) list of things that we love.  Most are local, some are not, but check them all out!

Kat completed her teacher trainings with these awesome people.  A more dedicated bunch of yogis you will never meet.  While they now run regular "classical" style yoga classes from The Yoga Lab in Auckland's Parnell, they also operate the wonderful Ohui Retreat Centre on the beautiful Coromandel.  There you can enjoy the bliss and solitude of the beach and surrounding hills, learn from their extremely experienced teachers and take your yoga to depths you may never have imagined!  Check out their website for details of retreats, private stays and teacher trainings currently on offer.

qi Therapies

Mel is such a caring, intuitive therapist whose skills go way beyond her healing touch.  She offers medicinal and relaxation massages, pregnancy massage, Chinese massage, and a range of other Chinese healing modalities.  We can not recommend Mel highly enough!!  And she's conveniently located down the hall from Pure Life Yoga.

Simply THE best place in Upper Hutt for coffee, hot chocolates, or any strong, hot, (maybe) milky beverage that takes your fancy.  Make sure you explore the everchanging menu of Mother Suckin' Shakes - it is not to be missed!  The hardest thing is deciding which of the many delectable delights to savour without sacrificing the diet!

We love local (have we mentioned that already?)  and you can't get much more local than Susan and her awesome team at Upper Hutt Fitness.  Susan's energy is contagious and her passion for supporting our community is phenomenal.  This is a team that will truly work with you to reach your fitness goals.  With a fully equipped gym and group fitness classes you couldn't ask for more!
